The Fender James Burton Telecaster is designed to bridge the sonic gap between a classic Telecaster and the wider tonal palette of a Stratocaster.

This Tele is a true workhorse, built to give you access to virtually any single-coil sound you need:

Triple Pickup Configuration: It features three specially designed James Burton single-coil pickups (SSS configuration) that deliver the perfect blend of Tele twang and Strat quack.
Strat-o-Tele Switching: The 5-way selector switch provides traditional Tele bridge/neck options alongside three versatile dual-pickup combinations.
S-1 Switch: For even greater depth, the subtle S-1 switch instantly introduces series circuitry into positions 2 and 4, giving you a powerful, higher-output tone on the fly.

The guitar is built for comfortable playability and unmistakable stage presence:

Classic Neck Profile: The Maple neck features a vintage-style '60s "U" shape, which feels fuller in the hand, adding mass for enhanced tone and sustain.
Maple Fingerboard: A 9.5" radius Maple fingerboard, paired with 21 vintage-style frets, delivers a smooth playing experience for everything from fast country licks to blues bends.
Basswood Body: The Basswood body contributes to a defined, balanced tone with warmth and a satisfying midrange growl.
