The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Fender Custom Shop Nocaster they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision.
A lightweight Ash body is finished in a classic Nocaster Honey Blonde nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The plain grain Maple neck has a smooth, vintage feel. With a 7.25" radius and vintage frets, the Nocaster features a 52 Style U profile; it feels comfortable and robust, just like a vintage Fender should.
With the Telecaster design considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop Nocaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. Loaded with a Fender Nocaster pickup at the bridge, you certainly get that famous Tele' tone. This beaut has a Seymour Duncan SH-1n 59 in the neck, super versatile it delivers authentic country tones, the perfect complement to this guitar!
