The Fender Custom Shop Dale Wilson Masterbuilt '68 Tele is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders.
The sort for lightweight Ash body is fitted out in a Pink Paisley. Just take a moment to admire how beautiful the medium tint 5/4 quartersawn Maple neck is! With a 60 style oval "C" profile measuring .830" at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th, 9.50" radius and narrow tall (6105) frets its super resonant and feels incredible underhand.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '68 Tele needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a Hand wound "Twisted Tele" in the neck and a Hand wound '63 Tele Bridge pickup, it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection. The addition of the grease bucket tone pot adds even more versatility to this amazing guitar.
