The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop '60 Telecaster they hark right back to the early days of Leo Fenders vision.
The Alder body is finished in a stunning Aged Candy Apple Red over 3TSB lacquer, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The 2A Flame Maple neck has a smooth, authentic, vintage feel. With a 9.5" radius, 21 6105 frets, a 1.650 Nut Width, 25.5"scale length, and 60s Style Oval C neck shape which measures .790" at the 1st fret and .930 at the 12th fret, it's a real joy to play.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '60 Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a pair of Hand Wound Twisted Tele Pickups you can cover every tone you can think of. They are beautifully dynamic and handle both clean and gain incredibly well.
