This exclusive model faithfully captures the essence of the original 1954 Stratocaster while showcasing authentic vintage appointments and premium craftsmanship. Tghis guitar has one of the most authentic Super Heavy Relic finishes that we've seen. This could've come straight out of the Joe Bonamssa collection!
Constructed with a two-piece select ash body, featuring an offset seam on the treble side, this Stratocaster resonates with a balanced tonal spectrum - delivering articulate highs, rich midrange, and defined lows. Adorned with a stunning Wide Fade Two-Colour Sunburst lacquer finish, completed with an authentic Super Heavy Relic finish.
The neck of the 70th Anniversary Stratocaster boasts a one-piece quartersawn maple construction, shaped to a special 70th anniversary Soft "V" profile inspired by a historic Strat neck from July 1954. Its vintage compound-radius fingerboard, ranging from 7.25" to 9.5", hosts 21 medium vintage frets and a 1.625" bone nut - ensuring exceptional playability across the entire fretboard. Equipped with three Custom Shop hand-wound '54 Strat pickups, this guitar delivers the iconic Stratocaster sound characterised by clear, bell-like highs, and dynamic responsiveness.
This commemorative model also features authentic first-year Strat appointments, including a single-ply white pickguard and serial-number back plate, 1954-style ABS white pickup covers and control knobs, a Custom Shop vintage synchronised tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners, disc string tree, special 70th Anniversary Stratocaster neck plate, deluxe embroidered hardshell case, special "case candy" kit, and certificate of authenticity.
