The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things and really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision. This 59 P Bass is really something special.
The Alder body is typically comfortable thanks to the lush sweeping curves, and with a crisp Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst finish it looks real slick. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further, it also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. The wear patterns are incredible, so genuine and authentic.
The medium tint Quartersawn Maple neck features a 60 P-Bass Oval "C" profile, designed for precision and comfort; it's equally at home playing big low end root notes or technical work further up the neck. 20 medium jumbo frets, and a 7.25" radius make this bass feel familiar and supremely comfortable.
Loaded with a Hand wound '57 Precision Bass pickup, you get period correct Fender tone, there's just no mistaking that signature Fender bass thump! it really does give off the vintage vibe. Vintage machine heads and a relic bridge deliver ultimate tuning stability and intonation.
Supreme quality from top to bottom and shipped in a Fender Custom Shop hardcase. Guitars of this calibre just don't come around every day, we love it and we're pretty sure you will too!
