The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '57 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight Ash body is finished in a super cool Aged White Blonde nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since 1957 and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work. Paired up with Gold Hardware this strat really nails that Mary Kaye vibe.
The 3A Flame Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 6105 frets, the '57 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '57 Style Soft "V" neck shape which measures .850" at the 1st fret and .990" at the 12th fret. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender '57 Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone. A super cool extra detail on these pickups is the gold pole pieces which really pop!
