The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '55 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line. Representing the true magic of one of the very first Fender Strat's, the '55 offers some great vintage features and true fender mojo.
The Ash body is finished with a stunning 2-Colour Sunburst Nitro relic. This gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Quartersawn Maple neck features a 9.5" radius for a superb playing action without any choking. The 1954 U profile feels great underhand and 21 narrow tall frets offers a really comfortable playing experience.
The defining feature of this Strat is the incredible hand-wound ’55 Strat pickups. This set is super dynamic and offer a truly awesome playing experience!
