The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '62 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Alder body is finished in a super cool 3-Tone Sunburst nitro lacquer, Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Riftsawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 7.25-9.5" radius and 21 6105 frets, the '62 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a Large "C" neck shape which measures .875" at the 1st fret and .950" at the 12th. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender Bone Tone Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. These pickups are incredibly rare to find on the market, and the fact this beautiful example of a Fender Custom Shop is loaded with them is a real treat. They are also the same set featured in the highly acclaimed Custom Shop Limited Edition Gary Moore Stratocaster, delivering great articulation and punchy dynamics this set is highly sort after. As if that wasnt enough this Strat is also fitted with Clapton spec electronics and the Sambora 12dB boost providing you with just that extra boost when sculpting your tone. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
