Dale Wilson is known across the globe as one of Fenders highly revered Masterbuilders, a select group of the worlds most esteemed luthiers. With this Godly status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so. The Fender Custom Shop Dale Wilson Masterbuilt '61 Strat Heavy Relic is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders.

A sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a Charcoal Frost Metallic Heavy Relic, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. Dale is the King of relic work at the custom shop and this certainly doesn't disappoint though! 

The Riff Sawn Maple neck has a worn in finish and a medium tint on the back. With a 9.5" radius and 21 Jumbo frets, the '60 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 59 Esquire “C” profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.

Loaded with a trio of handwound 59 Strat single coils, you get a broad variation of tones. From clean sparkle to a raunchy growl, this guitar really is a players dream.
