The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop 60's Stratocaster relic is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A traditional Alder body is finished in the classic Vintage White, one of Fender's most iconic finishes, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The plain grain Maple neck has a smooth finish and an AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets, the '60s Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 60 style oval C profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Custom Shop pickups, a Texas Special at the bridge, a 69 Strat in the neck and a Fat 50s in the middle, it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat.
This 2008 Strat is used but in good condition, there is some natural wear to the body and the neck but nothing excessive or unusual for a 12 year old players guitar! Plenty of life in the frets! Complete with hard case, this is a real steal!
