John Cruz is known across the globe as one of Fenders highly revered Masterbuilders, a select group of the worlds most esteemed luthiers. With this Godly status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so!

The Fender Custom Shop John Cruz Masterbuilt '60 Stratocaster is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders.

With an Alder body this guitar is super resonant and has a really bold tone. The relic Olympic White finish gives the appearance of a well-loved and gigged guitar; it's totally authentic and really cool. The level of attention to detail that has been applied to this guitar is simply out of this world!

The 4A Roasted Flame Maple neck is real comfortable; it has a worn feel but also a really smooth gradient. With a '65 Strat C profile, 9.5"-12" compound radius and 6105 frets it's super resonant and feels incredible underhand. The AAA Rosewood fingerboard is a treat to play, perfectly balanced and with flawless playability right up the neck, it's a real player's piece.

The defining feature is the signature Ancho Poblano singlecoil pickups, getting progressively hotter from neck to bridge, they are uniquely calibrated and offer a distinct tonal flavour. Overwound by hand they are the holy grail of single coils.
