Fender Custom Shop 59 Journeyman Anniversary Strat Olympic White *Used*
Peach Guitars 10th Anniversary Strat

This Fender Custom Shop '59 Journeyman Anniversary Strat Olympic White, crafted in 2016, at Fender’s Corona, California factory to mark 10 years of Peach Guitars’ ownership (2006-2016) is a standout in the Custom Shop’s Journeyman Relic series. This guitar features a 2-piece alder body finished in a majestic Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer, a finish that evokes the pristine elegance of a well-loved ‘59 Strat. The Journeyman Relic treatment adds light lacquer checking and subtle wear, giving it the look and feel of a vintage instrument cared for over years, while the Anniversary designation honors Peach Guitars’ milestone. The roasted quartersawn maple neck, carved to a ‘65 “C” profile (.820" at 1st fret, .974" at 12th), is paired with a rosewood fingerboard featuring a 9.5" to 12" compound radius, 22 Sanko 6105 frets, and clay dot inlays, offering a 25.5" scale length for an authentic ‘50s playing experience. The roasting process enhances the neck’s stability and tonal resonance, while the headstock end truss rod adjustment provides easier access for modern setup precision. In good condition with light signs of use beyond its factory finish, this Strat shows minimal additional wear, preserving its commemorative charm.
This Anniversary Strat is equipped with a set of hand-wound "Bone Tone" pickups, a special design by former master builder John Cruz, first introduced in the Gary Moore Tribute Strat to honor the legendary guitarist’s tonal preferences. These pickups deliver a rich, articulate tone with a vintage warmth and clarity, blending the snap of a classic Strat with a slightly beefier output—perfect for blues, rock, and beyond. Wired with a 5-way switch, master volume, and two tone controls with a "Tone Saver" treble bleed circuit that retains high-end clarity as you roll down the volume, it offers versatile tonal options for everything from glassy cleans to biting leads. The 2-post tremolo with locking staggered tuners—eliminating the need for a string tree—ensures smooth vibrato action and superior tuning stability, blending vintage aesthetics with modern performance. These specs were carefully chosen to maintain the integrity of what makes a vintage Strat so special while enhancing playability for today’s players. Professionally set up by our expert luthiers at Peach Guitars, it’s ready to play straight out of its original hardshell case.
