The sort for lightweight Ash body is finished in a classic Faded Nocaster Blonde nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The Time Capsule finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since 1952 and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work.
The rift sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and feels great underhand! With a 7.25-9.5" compound radius, 21 narrow tall frets, the '52 Custom Shop Telecaster also features a 57 Style Soft V neck shape which measures .880 at the 1st fret and .990 at the 12th fret. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a pair of Fender handwound 50-51 Blackguard Tele pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Tele. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Tele tone.
Yet another absolute stunner from the guys at the Fender Custom Shop!
