The Fender 70th Anniversary American Professional II Stratocaster is a modern powerhouse. Carrying all the traditional traits of a Strat, the American Pro brings a few new features to the table. Designed to provide the playability, tonal versatility and performance that our most demanding customers need to be successful.
The Alder body is typically comfortable, as all Strat's are. It’s extremely well weighted and feels great against the body. With the addition of a solid Flame Maple top stained in a rich and vibrant Comet burst it certainly looks the part and is a great addition to the legendary Stratocaster range.
The Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard feature a Deep C profile, designed for speed and comfort; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work. 22 narrow tall frets, a 9.5" radius and 25.5" scale length make this Stratocaster feel familiar and supremely comfortable. The Professional II range brings a new contoured neck heel , soft rolled fingerboard edges and a super natural finish for improved feel and comfort
The defining feature comes in the form of the incredible 70th Anniversary V-Mod II single coil pickups. This set is super dynamic and offers a multi-dimensional tone. These pickups are voiced individually for each position, mixing alnico magnet types to produce powerful, balanced tones with original Fender secret sauce. It also includes a push/push control which adds the neck pickup to your sound.
An upgraded 2-point tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block increases sustain, clarity and high-end sparkle. Deluxe locking tuners ensure exceptional tuning stability. The Inca Silver ABS moulded case provides reliable protection for your prized instrument.
