Meet Jeff Ling, the lead guitarist for Australian metalcore legends Parkway Drive, and his Signature Series JL-600 electric guitar. Taking the speed demon vibe of the ESP M Series to a whole new level, this guitar is built for ultimate speed and precision.
Featuring a neck-thru-body construction with a 25.5" scale, the JL-600 offers excellent sustain and fast access to the higher frets. The satin-finished, unpainted, extra thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck provides a smooth and comfortable playing experience. The guitar's alder body is both comfortable and resonant, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard features glow-in-the-dark side markers, a special "PWD" inlay at the 12th fret, and 24 extra-jumbo frets for two full octaves of rock.
To deliver the tones that Jeff Ling demands, the JL-600 comes equipped with a set of EMG Metalworks 60 (neck) and 81 (bridge) pickups. These pickups provide a wide range of sounds, from creamy rhythms to screaming leads. The guitar also includes a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body design and LTD locking tuners, ensuring that it stays in tune even during the most intense performances.
