Alnico Classic Pro Humbuckers, Bigsby B70, Limited To 1985 Pieces

To celebrate 40 years of Back to the Future, Epiphone brings one of cinema’s most iconic guitars back to life with the new Back to the Future ES-345. Inspired by the Gibson ES-345 played by Marty McFly during his unforgettable “Johnny B. Goode” performance at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance, this model captures the energy and magic of that legendary moment. Although the ES-345 originally debuted in 1959, its appearance in the film’s 1955 setting gave it a unique place in both music and movie history.
The Epiphone Back To The Future ES-345 features a traditional semi-hollow body crafted from 5-ply layered maple with a solid maple center block for improved sustain and reduced feedback. The period correct Cherry Red finish looks super authentic, the Epiphone team have done a great job at colouring this guitar with the iconic Gibson used in the film. The top is finished with four-ply binding, while the back sports single-ply binding.
The mahogany neck is carved to a comfortable Rounded C profile that feels instantly familiar to anyone who loves classic Gibson playability. It’s paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard featuring 22 medium jumbo frets, a 43mm nut width, and a 24.75-inch scale length. The pearloid split parallelogram inlays add a touch of vintage style, with the 12th fret remaining solid, just like on the original guitar. The 60s-style Kalamazoo headstock features a Graph Tech nut and Epiphone Deluxe tuners with cream Keystone buttons for smooth, reliable tuning. Mother-of-pearl inlays display the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown, while a Hill Valley Music Store decal on the back adds a subtle but clever tribute to the film’s iconic setting.
Powered by a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, the Back to the Future ES-345 delivers rich, dynamic tones full of vintage character. Beyond its cinematic legacy, this is a well-equipped, high-performance instrument built for serious players. Gold hardware adds to its striking appearance, featuring a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and a Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece, with the original Stop Bar studs kept in place.
Limited to just 1,985 units worldwide, this collector’s piece won’t be around forever.
