Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut Reissue | TV Yellow
USA P-90 Soapbar, 60s SlimTaper Neck, Epiphone Deluxe Three On A Plate Tuners
The Gibson Les Paul Special was introduced in 1955 as a single cutaway model, making it the final addition to the original 1950s Les Paul lineup—aside from the renowned sunburst Standards of 1958 to 1960. Building on the simplicity of the Les Paul Junior, the Special added a second P-90 pickup, giving players more tonal range and flexibility. In 1958, Gibson unveiled the double cutaway version, which quickly gained popularity for its easy access to higher frets and eye-catching design.
