Introducing the Collings OM2H, a timeless body shape that has gained popularity amongst fingerstyle guitar soloists and flatpickers alike. Designed over 80 years ago, this 14-fret model is renowned for its versatility and is equally at home on stage or in a casual setting. With a compact shape and a body just over 4 inches deep, the Collings OM delivers balanced tone and an immediate response.

Crafted with precision, each acoustic guitar top undergoes a meticulous selection process based on density and rigidity. Hand-graded to its unique thickness, the top is optimised to maximise the tonal potential of each instrument. The playability is further enhanced through a combination of exacting PLEK machine levelling and hand fret dressing, ensuring consistently excellent playability and a silky fret feel.

The Collings OM2H features a Sitka spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, a classic combination known for rich overtones and a powerful bass response. Additional appointments include a Sitka spruce scalloped X-brace, Honduran Mahogany neck, 14"-26" compound radius Ebony fretboard, Ebony bridge with matching pins, bone saddle and nut, and a 25.5" scale length. The premium Waverly open-gear tuners provide exceptional tuning stability with a vintage aesthetic. Of course we have the 1 3/4" Nut which even further enhances the playing experience for fingerpickers.

Enhancing its traditional charm, the Collings OM2H boasts herringbone purflings with ivoroid body bindings, along with a matching ivoroid and wood fibre rosette. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish, meticulously hand-sanded between coats, ensures optimal acoustic response while providing excellent protection and aesthetics.
