The Martin D-28 is perhaps the most important acoustic guitar ever made, with timeless design and a rich tonal quality, it's easy to see why pre-war models can sell for upwards of £100,000. The Martin Authentic Series offers the best take on a vintage D-28 that money can buy. It is hands down the best version on the market!
This D-28 is inspired by the highly revered 1931 model which features an authentic 1931 Scalloped X-brace for a rich and full sound. True to the original design it also features Solid Madagascar Rosewood back and sides and a Adirondack Spruce top with Martin's Vintage Tone System which really allows this model to open up sonically and sound like a true vintage Martin.
The Solid Mahogany neck boasts a 25.4" scale length, 16" radius and a sweet Ebony fingerboard, it's really comfortable underhand and it's equally suited to both delicate finger style and big chiming chords.
The Martin D-28 is a guitar with timeless appeal, and the Authentic series '31 is one of the finest you will ever see.
