Dave Friedman has been designing and building guitar rigs for the stars since the early nineties. After two decades of modding amplifiers and consulting for other well-known amplifier companies, Dave has finally brought his talent to a line of production amps under his name Friedman Amplification.
The Friedman Dirty Shirley is an amp that totally nails all those classic 60's and 70's rock tones. It's safe to say it has been a Peach favourite since we first started stocking Friedman amps. 100% handwired over in California, it's an amp you just can't ignore!
The Dirty Shirley is a 40 watt tonal monster. Loaded with 2 x 5881 power tubes, 3 x 12AX7s and 1 x 5AR4 rectifier tube it's based on a modified JTM 45. It delivers the signature high gain tone for which Friedman is best known but also offers a huge range of crystal clean tones.
In our opinion it's simply the best rock and roll guitar amp, perfect for players that like to keep things simple and just ride the volume control on the guitar for different tones. This model is one of the older spec models and doesn't feature the gain structure switch.
This amp is used but is in great condition; it sounds incredible and doesn't have any scuffs or tears in the covering. If you are after an amp that will make others take notice, this is it!
