Cornford Amplifiers were a UK based boutique amp builder favoured by the likes of Dave Kilminster and Richie Kotzen.
The Carrera is the smaller sibling of the popular Hellcat model, less gain and less power but just as much killer tone and a more useable volume! With the traditional Cornford Oxblood covering and a simple but effective control panel, this amp is the perfect stage and studio companion.
There are on-off and standby switches, and another toggle that says '8 pin' one way and '9 pin' the other.
This is the Carrera's secret weapon and means you can use any output valve you like, from regular EL34s and 6L6s, right up to super-tubes like the venerable KT88.
Loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30, this amp is big on tone and offers a crisp response and dynamic range.
Used but in really nice condition, these amps are becoming increasingly difficult to get your hands on!
