This Raven Classic features an Alder body, providing a balanced and resonant foundation for its voice. The neck is crafted from Caramel Maple with a beautiful Chocolate Maple Fingerboard, finished with natural satin on both the headstock and back for a smooth, fast feel. The 60's Vibe neck back shape is a defining characteristic: it starts as a medium-depth neck at the first few frets with an early 60's style taper, gradually becoming a more substantial profile as your hand moves towards the 12th fret. With a 1 5/8-inch nut width and Low-Rise frets, this neck offers superb comfort and playability across the entire 25 1/2-inch scale length. Chrome hardware, including a reliable Vintage Tremolo bridge, complements the elegant finish.

A highlight of this Raven Classic is its pickup configuration: a PQ1 at the neck and an HC2 at the bridge. The PQ1 is Anderson's innovative hum-cancelling take on the classic P-style (Soapbar) pickup, delivering a sound that beautifully bridges the gap between single-coil clarity and humbucker girth. It offers wide bandwidth, clear string clarity without harshness, booming lows, and enough midrange punch to avoid being thin, all while remaining completely hum-free. The HC2 bridge pickup is a popular medium-hot output humbucker, wound to create a full bouquet of tonalities with muscular mids and musical, lush highs, never sounding "duck-like." Switching between these versatile pickups is managed by a 3-Way Big Toggle with two Cut Switches, offering even more tonal options.
