Crafted with precision, this bent contour not only enhances aesthetics but also ensures a comfortable playing experience with swooping body lines and a forearm contour that feels like an extension of your picking arm.
The body construction of the Drop Top Classic Hollow is a harmonious blend of materials, featuring a flame maple top paired with basswood. This combination yields a neutral and balanced sound with a punchy response. The addition of sealed chambers further enhances the guitar's resonance, providing a gentle attack and an airy quality to the tone - not to mention a further weight reduction to an already light guitar.
Finished in a striking Cajun Red with binding and a black back, the Drop Top Classic Hollow exudes elegance from every angle. The beautiful high-gloss finish adds a touch of sophistication, complementing the guitar's aesthetic appeal.
The neck of the Drop Top Classic Hollow is crafted from maple, with a rosewood fingerboard that adds a sleek appearance. The Even-Taper +.030 neck profile and 1 11/16" nut width ensure a smooth playing experience, allowing for effortless transitions up and down the fretboard.
One of the most notable features of the Drop Top Classic Hollow is its fretwork. Equipped with jumbo stainless steel frets, this guitar offers unparalleled playability and responsiveness. The stainless steel frets provide a silky smooth feel, allowing for effortless string bends and fluid vibrato.
In terms of electronics, the Drop Top Classic Hollow is equipped with SC1, and H2+ pickups. The H2+ is a great all-rounder of a pickup with a medium output and a big low end that compliments its full mids. Paired with two SC1 pickups, you get access to some real classic vintage output single-coil tones without the hum! With a 5-way switching system and Splitter switch, players have access to a wide range of versatile tones, making this guitar suitable for any musical style.
Completing the package are .010-.046 Elixir strings, which offer exceptional tone and extended lifespan. Additionally, all Anderson guitars come equipped with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System, ensuring precise intonation and accurate tuning across the fretboard.
