The Shorty part of the name refers to its scale length, measuring at a 24 3/4 inches. This slightly shorter scale length offers frets that are closer together resulting in a bigger reach and less tension for players who need or prefer such characteristics.
The body construction of the Drop Top Shorty Hollow is a harmonious blend of materials, featuring a flame maple top paired with basswood. This combination yields a rich, full-bodied sound with a balanced tonal spectrum.
