The finish on these Ceramic Rock Slides is hard and smooth, similar to what you'd find with their glass slides. However, since these Ceramic models are heavier than glass (and brass) they have more sustain and low end. They are also significantly more durable than glass slides as they are made from high-heat industrial ceramic as opposed to coffee mug/studio clay. Thanks to the hi-tech injection moulding that Rock Slide use, these slides feature the same tapered interior features as other classic Rock Slide models.
