Taylor 912ce Builder Edition
Master Luthier, Andy Powers, continues to shake up the world of acoustic guitar with his stunning "Builder Edition" range of acoustic Guitars. This 912ce Builders Edition model has the sweetest tone with the easiest playability you will ever find on an acoustic guitar.
Crafted with electric players in mind, the Builder’s Edition 912ce combines Taylor’s compact Grand Concert body with player-centric contouring on the neck and body. Between the 24-7/8-inch scale length, rolled fretboard edges, and beveled cutaway, the neck handles exceptionally well and yields a precise, high-fidelity, super-fast response like an electric guitar. Rosewood’s natural bell-like response, together with a Lutz spruce top and V-Class bracing, give the guitar a clear, focused sound with a well-manicured low end and impressive power on the treble side. It makes a great tool for leads and most genres, from rock to jazz to fingerstyle acoustic. The tonal response also translates into an easily shapeable amplified sound with the onboard ES2 electronics.
The aesthetic treatment draws from Taylor’s 900 Series ornamentation, featuring inset paua purfing in the top and back, with koa fretboard and peghead trim, a paua abalone rosette with ebony and koa accents, and a new Bellefleur fretboard/peghead inlay in mother- of-pearl and pink abalone. The guitar ships with a deluxe hardshell case.
