This Suhr Custom Classic T Handpicked is truly a head-turner with it's looks but, under the hood, it's a tone-machine that feels like an absolute dream to play. Mixing modern innovation and construction with vintage style and sound, it's not just a pretty face.
These guitars feature all the vintage elements we all love but back it up with super stable and reliable modern-day benefits. The chambered Swamp Ash Tele body is topped with a handpicked Flame Maple top and finished in an Aged Cherry Burst with scraped binding. The 5A Roasted Birdseye Maple neck has a satin finish for a smooth, slick feel. With a 60's C Vintage Standard (.810"-.930") profile, 22 Heavy stainless steel frets and a compound 9''-12'' radius, this is a substantial but real comfortable guitar.
Benefitting from a duo of signature Mateus Asato tele pickups, it's a versatile and adaptable set-up and is further boosted by the Suhr SSCII, a completely transparent noise reduction system. Installed inside the body, it reduces 60 cycle hum and has no effect on tone, it just helps keep those crystal clear tones ringing!
Topped up with a Wilkinson 3 saddle bridge, Suhr locking tuners, and a 1.650" Tusq nut, intonation and tuning are accurate and rock solid no matter how hard you play. Includes a hardshell case to protect your guitar on the move.
