If you are looking for that vintage vibe and feel without compromising on playability and tone, look no further than the Suhr Classic Antique.
These guitars feature all the vintage elements we love but back it up with super stable and reliable modern-day benefits. The Alder Strat body is finished in a thin lacquer and then subject to Suhr's own antiquing process, subtly and authentically antiqued it features natural checking and light ageing. The ultra-thin nitro will wear naturally to allow each guitar to develop its own roadworn look.
The Roasted Maple neck has a lightly aged finish for a smooth, slick feel. With an even "C" medium profile, Rosewood fingerboard, rolled medium stainless steel frets, and a 9''-12'' radius this a substantial but real comfortable guitar.
Benefitting from a pair of MLStandard single coils and a Thornbucker Plus it replicates those famous Strat tones, rich, punchy and ready to growl. The Classic Antique is versatile and adaptable and boosted by the Suhr SSCII, a completely transparent noise reduction system. Installed inside the body, it reduces 60 cycle hum and has no effect on tone, it just helps keep those crystal clear tones ringing!
