This Suhr Carve Top Standard is another great example of the continued high-quality work from Suhr.
With a Mahogany body and a lush Burl Maple top, it's tonally superior, balanced and beautifully poised for action. Suhr have finished it in a really Fire Burst colour and utilised hand and tummy contours for a really comfortable playing experience.
With a Mahogany neck, the Standard benefits from a Pau Ferro fingerboard, 16" fingerboard radius and a Modern Elliptical profile for an extremely comfortable playing experience. The 22 Jumbo stainless steel frets offer great string bending potential and long lasting playability.
With the powerhouse pickup HSH combo, this guitar delivers monster tonal options. With a duo of SSV and SSH+ humbuckers this guitar is really versatile, the ML Standard in the middle position adds a little single coil flavour into this powerhouse mix. It's smooth and responsive and capable of kicking out some seriously raunchy tones. With a push/pull you can split the neck coils for even greater tonal variety. Tuning stability comes from a cracking Gotoh 510 bridge, it offers improved performance and reliability.
This guitar is used but in really nice condition. There are a few sings of use but nothing aside from the usual playing marks. Signed by John Suhr, this Suhr was specd by Guitar Guitar as number 53 of their Select Series.
