There are very few players who can boast as many performing credits as Toto's 6 string bandit, Steve Lukather. With a career spanning over 40 years he has featured on over 1500 albums and been the recipient of an impressive 5 Grammy Awards. It's no wonder that Music Man were keen to recruit him to their roster. Crafted in the Far East the Sterling lines are designed by the same Ernie Ball engineering team that produce the USA models.
Based on the classic Music Man Luke designs this Sterling model features a Basswood body with a brilliant Flame Maple veneer finished in a gorgeous Hazel burst. It is brilliantly weighted and has incredible sustain and power.
The Roasted Maple neck is supremely comfortable and feels great underhand, it boasts 22 narrow frets, 25.5 scale, a 42mm nut width and a 12 radius. Whether your playing heavy riffs or slick lead lines you're sure to feel at home.
Classic Luke tones come courtesy of custom voiced proprietary pickups designed by the guys at Music Man. Inspired by Steve Lukather's masterful tone, the Luke features two Sterling by Music Man humbucking pickups, an active 12dB push-push boost, and 5-way pickup selector for a dynamic range of tonal combinations.
Finished off with locking tuners and a vintage tremolo system this guitar offers incredible value for money
