The Schecter USA Custom Shop operates at the highest level of lutherie, producing instruments that stand proudly alongside boutique builders such as Anderson, Tyler, Suhr, and Collings. This example features a highly resonant Alder body capped with a striking .25" Flamed Maple top, finished in the elegant Atomic Ice Aged Nitrocellulose Lacquer. The authentic nitro ageing process has resulted in subtle, beautiful lacquer checking, characteristic of a revered vintage instrument.
The neck is crafted from durable Wenge with a smooth satin finish and the comfortable Custom C shape. It is paired with an exquisite African Ebony fingerboard (14" radius) hosting 22 Jescar Premium German Silver Frets (6100 equivalent), completed with immaculate Custom Shop fretwork for superior performance across the 25.5" scale. The versatile HSS configuration utilises the custom-voiced NJ Atombucker (bridge) and Subatomic single-coils. Premium hardware includes Schecter/Hipshot Staggered Locking Tuners and the Schecter Fulcrem Trem. The master tone control is push-pull enabled for humbucker coil-splitting.
