Schecter C-1 HT S SLS Elite Evil Twin | Satin Black
All The Screaming, Sustaining Madness Of The Sustainiac But Without The Often-Paired Floyd Rose
This model is perfect for tight, fast and accurate playing and leaves you wanting nothing more. The dark satin aesthetic is done tastefully, showing off the top contours and ivory binding. All the mod cons are here: stainless steel jumbo frets (yes, a complete set of 24), dark ebony for the fingerboard, neck-thru construction, locking tuners, Hipshot bridge, glow-in-the-dark side dots, multi-voiced Fishman Fluence Modern, a screaming and magical Sustainiac pickup... you're not going to be limited by the guitar if you buy this beaut - just by how hard you work during your practice sessions.
We love Schecter Guitars - they cover so much ground across their range and offer fantastic value for money. This model in particular is perfect for tight, fast and accurate playing and leaves you wanting nothing more from a slick shred machine.
The aesthetic is beautiful - Satin Black with an arched top, a dark Ebony fingerboard but then highlighted with Ivory style binding. The inlays lend a touch of metal influence but without being garish or over-the-top. Flip it around and see a much lighter finish that reveals the Swamp Ash body and Neck-Thru construction. So cool.
In terms of features there is nothing holding you back. 24 X-Jumbo Stainless Steel frets with excellent access, locking tuners and compensated Ernie Ball nut for accurate pitch stability, carbon fibre in the (ultra-thin) neck for stability, glow in the dark side dots for stage navigation, a Hipshot hardtail string-thru body bridge for being able to switch to drop tunings without the other strings going out of tune, a Fishman Fluence Modern pickup with two voicings to be able to nail high-gain tones and present the clarity for modern clean lines... the list goes on. What is especially cool is that this guitar has a Susainiac neck pickup but without a Floyd Rose. Often with Schecters the two go hand in hand. However, in this instance you can make the guitar sustain as long as you want and howl into harmonic feedback-like screams, all whilst enjoying the comfort and stability of a fixed bridge.
If you sometimes feel limited by what you can do on your current electric, this guitar lets you know that there are no limits other than the ones you put on yourself from not practising and trying hard enough!
