PRS Tekton SVN 7-String - Natural Neck - Violet Tourmaline

The PRS Tekton SVN represents a momentous step forward in the brands evolution. Always at the forefront, the Tekton SVN builds upon PRS' outstanding reputation for expert craftsmanship and provides a precision built 7-string design made for modern players.

PRS have spent many years researching the best designs and, importantly, listening to what modern players need. Stepping away from some of their more vintage-inspired designs, the Tekton range is in service to guitarists who need a serious guitar built for high performance and supreme playability: thinner necks, a longer scale length, flatter fretboard radius, stainless steel frets and pickups created to work perfectly with modern digital rigs.

Utilising the Vela body shape as a starting point, the Tekton body was refined and redesigned until PRS reached the perfect shape for today's most testing players. Still unmistakably PRS, yet sculpted into something new. Incorporating an exaggerated scoop for access to all the upper frets and a super comfortable tummy carve, meaning you can play easier, for longer. A Mahogany back is topped with a shallow violin carve Figured Mango top, which brings the usual PRS level of flare. In terms of neck shape design, they knew it needed to be thin but still inspiring to play. The result is the Modern D SVN, the thinnest neck PRS offer, along with the thinnest body. The neck has been reinforced with hormigo strength rods for rock solid stability no matter what you throw at it.

Featuring a bolt-on Maple neck, 16" radius on an Ebony fingerboard, a 26.5" scale length, 1 29/32" nut width and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, this is designed for superior playability on every front. Sweeping arpeggios, fast lead lines and string bending has never felt easier on a PRS guitar. Completing the look are offset dot inlays with Luminlay side dots so you can always keep site of where you are on the board.

The ultimate modern playing guitar deserves pickups which match that impeccable design. The Stylus SVN pickups are specifically voiced for premium articulation, clarity and exceptional note definition whether you're playing super clean or with extreme distortion. Designed to perform whether you're plugged into a classic valve amp or utilising digital modelling, every pickup position has been meticulously thought through, whether full humbucker or coil splitting.

Featuring a smoked black PRS hardtail 7-string bridge and PRS Phase III locking tuners for ultimate tuning stability and all pristinely finished in a high-gloss nitrocellulose with a satin nitro neck.

In ancient Greek, Tekton is the word for artisan or builder. Perfectly fitting for this innovative and exceptionally built instrument, the Tekton SVN is an outstanding achievement for PRS that sits among their finest models with aplomb.
