Sporting a pristine Curly Maple top picked from the PRS Private Stock Vault, which is finished in the incredible Whale Blue Dragons Breath. Thanks to the High Gloss Nitro finish the colour is super vibrant and powerful, the Nitro finish also allows the wood to breathe more effectively compared to other finishes. This Custom 24/08 benefits from a Ribbon Mahogany body with for a tonewood match made in heaven. Rich, resonant and tonally versatile, this is the epitome of high end performance.
The Ziricote neck is absolutely sublime, featuring some awesome natural grain figuring which really highlights the beauty of this illusive tone wood. It features the PRS Pattern Thin neck-carve which is smooth and super comfortable, allowing for quick and easy movements across the neck.
The Fingerboard is one of many eye-catching features of this Private Stock, featuring the classic PRS bird with an awesome blue swirl pattern outlined with Mother of Pearl. Finally the neck is beautifully finished with a Ziricote headstock veneer adorned with the iconic blue Private Stock Eagle sitting proudly. The Attention to detail on this fretboard is truly astonishing and really shows why the PRS Private Stock is held in such high regard.
Equipped with a Smoked Black PRS Gen III tremolo, the Custom 24/08 is always perfectly intonated and responsive to your playing. Flawless tuning stability comes courtesy of the Phase III locking tuners.
All these luxury appointments would be irrelevant though if it wasn't equipped with a pickup selection to match. A pair of 85/15 pickups deliver just the punch that this guitar needs, with a whole range of tonal variations, the Custom 24 is a powerhouse both on stage and in the studio. Featuring a master volume and tone with a 3 way bladeswitch alongside 2 mini switches, you really can sculpt this guitar to your own personal taste.
Housed in a PRS Private Stock Paisley hardcase, it's a real masterpiece.
