This PRS John Mayer Silver Sky in Roxy Pink, built in 2023, features an alder body, a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and 22 frets, offering a 25.5" scale length. Designed with John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith, it includes 635JM single-coil pickups and a steel tremolo with Gen III knife-edge screws. In overall very good condition, it shows signs of wear but remains fully functional, with a DiMarzio straplock set fitted as per Mayer’s preference, and comes with its premium PRS gigbag. The back of the maple neck showcases nice figuring, adding to its visual appeal.
The Silver Sky delivers a vintage-inspired tone with a round, full sound from its 635JM pickups, blending the warmth of early ‘60s Strats with modern clarity. Controlled by one volume and two tone knobs with a 5-way blade switch, it offers versatile tonal options, enhanced by the tremolo’s flush setup for improved resonance. The inverted PRS headstock and vintage-style locking tuners ensure tuning stability. Professionally set up by our expert luthiers at Peach Guitars, it’s ready to play straight out of its gigbag.
Body & Neck: Alder body in Roxy Pink finish, paired with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with small bird inlays, offering a 25.5" scale length and 22 frets, with nice figuring on the back of the maple neck.
Neck Profile: 635JM profile, designed for a comfortable feel with a 7.25" radius.
Pickups & Hardware: 635JM single-coil pickups with one volume, two tone controls, and a 5-way blade switch, complemented by a steel tremolo with Gen III knife-edge screws and vintage-style locking tuners, fitted with a DiMarzio straplock set.
Condition: Overall very good condition with signs of wear, professionally set up by our luthiers for optimal performance.
