This PRS Custom 24-08 in Faded Whale Blue Pattern Thin features a super rare carved 1-piece maple top, a mahogany back, and a mahogany neck with a Pattern Thin profile, paired with a rosewood fingerboard. It offers a 25" scale length and 24 frets, equipped with TCI pickups and mini coil tap switches.
The Custom 24-08 delivers a dynamic range of tones with its TCI (Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) pickups, designed for a full, musical sound reminiscent of single-coil and soapbar tones, enhanced by two mini coil tap switches for coil-tap adjustments across eight pickup configurations. Controlled by a 3-way blade switch, it provides flexibility across humbucking and single-coil sounds. If you set a nice crunch tone on an amp with the guitar volume control on 10, when you hit one of the coil tap switches and roll the volume back to 5 on the guitar, you get the most amazing clean sounds, which highlights the versatility of the instrument, you dont need a lot to get a varied tone. The PRS Gen III tremolo ensures smooth vibrato, while Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons offer tuning stability.
