Founded by the legendary Jim Marshall back in 1962, Marshall have well and truly cemented their position as one of the most important industry brands of all-time. You really can’t put into words how influential Marshall has been to music, and they continue to blaze a trail even now, 60 years later!
One of their most revered amps is the iconic Marshall JTM, the benchmark for the Marshall sound, the JTM was really the amp that kick started the valve amp revolution. It’s still the blueprint for gain filled tones and for 2023 Marshall has blessed us with a BRAND NEW take on this majestic amp!
The Marshall Studio JTM delivers that same sound but in a much more compact frame and power. Offering players authentic , smooth, valve-driven break up, the Studio JTM packs a serious punch, don’t be fooled by its small stature, this thing is stacked!
Like the original 30W head, the Studio JTM is loaded with two ECC83 preamp valves, two 5881 power amp valves and one ECC83 phase splitter, taking you right back to the renaissance of rock’n’roll. The Studio JTM offers the same control and versatility as older models, where simply patching the two channels together opens up a world of all-valve tonal possibility. Power switching enables you to switch effortlessly between 20W and 5W and two loudness controls mean you can play as loud as you like.
With a DI out and FX loop included as new features, the Studio JTM brings that classic vibe into the 21st century. Handbuilt in Marshall’s iconic workshop in Bletchley, England, you’ll find nothing but the highest quality components and master craftsmanship.
