The G66136T-140 Falcon is every bit the classic Gretsch, from its iconic tone to its timeless aesthetic and appointments, this is one cool cat! Benefitting from a solid Adirondack Red Spruce top, with Maple back and sides, it’s got tone for days and those lush sweeping Gretsch curves that really set these stunners apart.
This Falcon sports an exclusive 140th Anniversary 2-Tone Stone Platinum over Pure Platinum finish, with a matching pickguard and pickup bezels, jewelled G-Arrow control knobs, silver sparkle binding, and a commemorative 140th Anniversary plaque on the matching headstock, this is one gloriously decadent guitar with a look as big and unmistakable as its sound.
The neck features an Ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, rolled fret edges and a 12” radius, it’s a player's dream and feels absolutely killer underhand.
Spec wise the G6134T-140 shares many of the same impressive features, including the all-new FT-67 Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, which were designed to capture authentic vintage Gretsch voicing but with a more well-rounded tone for modern playing styles. This powerful pair of pickups provide open and pristine top-end chime, glassy midrange, robust low end, and balanced harmonics for tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments.
