Usually armed with his trusty arsenal of Flying V’s, Faulkner’s talents extend far beyond his technical prowess. Did you know that he also was responsible for the arrangement on the legendary Christopher Lee’s 2013 opus, Charlemagne: The Omens of Death? Well he was, and what a credit to have on your C.V!

With a 1-piece Mahogany body, this is a really stable and robust guitar. Finished in the iconic Pelham Blue, one of Gibson’s most popular finishes, it also boasts a White full-face Flying V pickguard. A personal favourite of Richie’s, the pickguard takes the visuals of this guitar to the next level of intensity!
The Mahogany neck features a custom Rchie Faulkner profile, Ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, and a super rad mother-of-pearl Falcon inlay at the 12th fret. It looks incredible and is a really nice, unique personal touch.
As cool as it looks, these are all pretty superficial appointments, what we really want is something turbocharged and able to melt faces, right? Well, this is where Gibson has really delivered! Loaded with a pair of EMG Richie Faulkner Signature humbuckers you get searing lead tone and a rhythm tone that could literally sink ships, it’s the perfect blend of clarity and inferno. The electrics are super stripped down too, no frivolous features or switches, just a pickup selector and a single volume control, no frills, just thrills!
If that wasn’t enough to get your frothing at the mouth, the Gibson Custom Shop Richie Faulkner Flying V comes primed with a Floyd Rose vibrato so you can dive bomb with flawless response and tuning stability until the gates of hell open!
If you want one of these Limited Edition beauts, you’re going to have to move FAST, and I mean FAST. Only 100 of these have been put into production by the master luthiers at the Gibson Custom Shop, and when they are gone, then they are gone for good!
