Introducing the Nik Huber Krautster III, a meticulously crafted electric guitar embodying the essence of vintage aesthetics with modern craftsmanship. Building upon its predecessors, this third evolution of the Krautster series showcases Nik Huber's original Dolphin body design, reminiscent of the iconic guitars from the late '50s and early '60s, yet tailored for contemporary musicians.
Distinctive in its design, the Krautster III boasts a flat top finished in Worn Onyx Black, complemented by single-ply creme binding around the open pore Okoume body. The Flame Maple neck features a 10" to 14" compound radius East Indian rosewood fingerboard, with bone dot inlays, ensuring a comfortable playing experience. With a scale length of 25", it strikes a perfect balance between familiarity and innovation.
At the heart of the Krautster III lies its versatile pickup configuration. Featuring a Harry Haussel set with a Krautster-B humbucker at the bridge and a P-90 "1956" at the neck, this guitar delivers a dynamic range of tones suitable for various music genres. With the inclusion of a push/pull coil-tap feature, it offers enhanced flexibility, making it equally adept at rock 'n' roll, blues, jazz, and more.
Completing the ensemble are premium hardware components, including a Nik Huber Aluminium stop-tail bridge and 510 open-gear tuners with Tulip-style buttons, guaranteeing exceptional performance and tuning stability. Handcrafted to order and produced in small batches, the Nik Huber Krautster III is a valued member to any guitarist's collection.
