The Music Man JP15 is a gem in the line-up of incredible JP signature models. The JP15 benefits from a strong and punchy Okoume body with a Flamed Maple Top finished in a stunning Purple Nebula gloss. It is beautifully weighted and super well balanced. The ergonomic design is a real treat to play.
The Figured Roasted Maple neck and fingerboard are adorned with awesome JP15 inlays. Thanks to the 24 Medium Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets, a 17" Radius and of course a 25.5" Scale Length you will have a premium playing experience, this setup is super comfortable, allowing for quick and easy movements all across the fingerboard.
A band like Dream Theater is full of complex, intricate and varied guitar styles. Because of this, John requires a pickup load out that is up to the challenge. A pair of DiMarzio Illuminators provide all the crushing tones you can possibly imagine, and thanks to the inclusion of the Piezo pickup you have that classic Pull Me Under tone right at your fingertips. Not to mention the Custom Music Man active preamp with push/push volume control for a +20dB gain boost.
