The Mayones DT series was created with the "Direct Tone" concept in mind, focusing on simplicity and delivering a high-performance guitar at a great price point. These optimized instruments are designed to offer precision, clarity, and refinement, making them ideal for handling even the most complex musical passages with ease and purpose.
The Duvell DT features a lightweight Swamp Ash body. This tone wood is super punchy and extremely resonant, perfect for low tuning and high-gain tones. The Gunmetal Grey Matte finish looks super slick and really accentuates the natural grain found within Swamp Ash. With these guitars, it’s all about letting the natural beauty of the wood shine through, and we think they’ve done an awesome job.
The bolt-on 5-ply Maple/Wenge neck further increases this guitars snappy tone, it’ll cut through in any mix without a problem. Unique to the DT series the blackheart fingerboard with matching headstock creates a classy, seamless look that fits well with the simple-yet-refined concept of this guitar. This guitar also features a 25.4” scale length, 16” radius, 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets, and dot inlays.
Fitted with Velvetrone Solium and ironside pickups, these guitars have a powerful, yet dynamic voice. Velvetrone pickups are wound in-house by Mayones, and are custom tailored to match each of their guitars. They are crisp and clear, making them great for both clean tones, and high gain riffs
A Hipshot 6 bridge and Hipshot Grip-Lock Locking Tuners complete this awesome guitar. With hardware of this quality, you don’t need to worry about any issues, this guitar will play great out of the box, but will play ever better with one of our custom setups available at purchase.
