This guitar features genuine Mahogany back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top, and it includes an Authentic 1937 bracing pattern. It contains period-correct "18" Authentic-style appointments and an Authentic neck barrel and heel, and a more accurate body profile based on dreadnought shapes from the early Golden Era of Martin's history.
Martin's Vintage Tone System (VTS) is employed to age the top and braces, which captures the tone from the 1930's era. Martins craftspeople recreate the pleasing visual aesthetics of a vintage guitar and reproduce the particular tones previously reserved for vintage instruments.
Truly a special acoustic guitar which encapsulates everything that makes vintage guitars so sought-after. An incredibly rich tone, beautiful low-end that fills the room and articulate note separation. This is as close as you'll get to a genuine pre-war Martin tone and feel.
This guitar is B Stock due to it featuring a few marks. Namely, there are a couple of small dents in lacquer on the soundboard, and slight marks on the headstock and fingerboard binding. However, this does not affect the playability, sound or structural stability of the guitar in any way. It still sounds absolutely incredible and retains its warranty.
Please note, this guitar will receive a full quality inspection and pro setup prior to dispatch at no extra cost. We have a full-time tech team dedicated to ensuring any guitar that you purchase from us - new, B Stock or second hand - receives the full Peach treatment! If you have any setup preferences, please reach out to us and we'll do our best to accommodate.
