The refreshed Standard Series welcomes the Martin M‑28, bringing the in‑demand Grand Auditorium shape back into the lineup with classic spruce and rosewood tone. The wide lower bout delivers the projection and resonance players expect from a larger guitar, while the shallower 000 depth keeps it comfortable, controlled and balanced across all six strings. It is a versatile, expressive design that suits strumming, flatpicking and fingerstyle equally well.
A solid spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides provides crisp articulation, deep bass and rich overtones. GE‑inspired scalloped spruce X‑bracing, as featured on the Modern Deluxe Series, adds responsiveness and dynamic range, giving the M‑28 a lively, open voice with excellent clarity.
The long 25.4 inch scale length and Golden Era Modified Low Oval neck profile create a familiar, refined feel. Bold herringbone, antique white binding and abalone fingerboard inlays give it the unmistakable look of a Style 28 Martin, with clean, traditional aesthetics throughout.
A moulded hardshell case is included.
