As Martin's smallest full‑size guitar, the 0 body offers an intimate, comfortable feel with clear trebles, punchy mids and the warm, woody character that suits fingerstyle playing, songwriting and recording.
The short 24.9 inch scale length and Golden Era Modified Low Oval neck profile provide a relaxed, vintage‑inspired feel. GE‑inspired scalloped spruce X‑bracing, borrowed from the Modern Deluxe Series, adds impressive responsiveness and projection, giving the 0‑17 a lively, expressive voice that belies its compact size.
A satin finish keeps the guitar lightweight and resonant, while the ebony bridge and fingerboard, abalone inlays, nickel open‑gear tuners and traditional dovetail neck joint complete the understated, classic aesthetic of the 17 Series.
