This Modern Deluxe 000-18 is packed with tonnes of custom features and modern technology. With an incredible Sitka Spruce top you get a really dynamic and vibrant tone. Pair that with the Genuine Mahogany back and sides and you have a tonal dream team; it's visually and tonally stunning. The top also has the amazing VTS treatment, which allows Martin to make a brand new guitar sound like an 80 year old vintage instrument. The top is heat treated to remove the moisture, which allows it to have the quickest response and the most detailed tone. The body is beautifully decorated with East Indian Rosewood binding and a multi-stripe top inlay.
The neck is an absolute dream to play. With a High Performance Taper and Vintage Deluxe neck shape it offers a comfortable and pleasurable playing experience. The Ebony fingerboard is the perfect partner for this neck, it features a 16 radius, 24.9 scale length and a 1 3/4" nut width as well as Old Style 18 inlays.
Other premium features include stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, a unique 1930s style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock as well as Liquidmetal bridge pins with Abalone dots and a composite carbon fibre bridgeplate that boosts volume.
