The Martin OM28E is one of the most beloved models in the Standard Series, offering the perfect balance of power, nuance and longterm reliability. Its 00014 Fret Auditorium body delivers a beautifully even response across all six strings, with deep bass, rich overtones and clear, singing trebles that suit fingerstyle, flatpicking and strumming in equal measure. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the OM28E combines warmth and depth with sparkling definition, while the 25.4 inch scale length adds extra tension for enhanced projection, sustain and a slightly brighter edge.

Martin's refreshed Standard Series brought meaningful upgrades in 2025, and is still the current model. GE scalloped Xbracing, inspired by the Modern Deluxe line, adds vintagestyle resonance and responsiveness. The GE Modified Low Oval neck with HighPerformance Taper offers a smooth, modern feel, paired with a thinner fingerboard and refined bridge and heel shaping for improved comfort and playability. The satin neck finish feels fast and brokenin from day one, while the dark mahogany colour adds a classic touch.

A bold herringbone top inlay, antique white binding, faux tortoise pickguard and Style 28 multistripe rosette give the OM28E its timeless aesthetic. The ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and compensated bone saddle ensure premium tone transfer, while nickel opengear butterbean tuners complete the vintage look. This version comes factoryequipped with the LR Baggs Anthem system, offering a studioquality blend of microphone realism and pickup clarity for exceptional live performance.
