Introducing the LTD Alexi Ripped, a guitar that pays tribute to the legacy of one of metal music's most iconic figures - Alexi Laiho. This masterpiece is among the final guitars designed by the Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight frontman himself, making it a rare and valuable addition to any musician's collection.
Crafted with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5" scale, the Alexi Ripped boasts an offset V shape, a three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck with natural satin finish, and alder body wings. The guitar's Macassar ebony fingerboard, complete with sawtooth inlays and glow-in-the-dark side markers, ensures smooth and fast playability.
The Alexi Ripped is the first Alexi Laiho Signature Series guitar with more than one pickup, and features an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position, as well as an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single coil in the neck.
The guitar is in a stunning Purple Fade Satin finish with painted black satin 'ripped' pinstripes, with matching back and sides. With Grover tuners, a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, and chrome hardware including a volume control and an inset three-way pickup selector, the LTD Alexi Ripped is the epitome of luxury and style.
