The Lowden GL10 represents more than forty years of George Lowden's craft distilled into a singlecut electric. Introduced in 2018, it blends unmistakable Lowden character with a sculpted, modern silhouette designed for comfort, sustain and tonal depth. This Denim Stain version features a figured maple top with a colouronly finish, allowing the grain to glow beneath the stain without a burst.
A twopiece African mahogany body and centrejoined maple top provide a rich, resonant foundation, while the threepiece American mahogany neck with rosewood splice delivers stability and a smooth, natural feel. The ebony fingerboard is bound with wooden purfling and fitted with mother of pearl side markers, keeping the aesthetic clean with no front inlays. The standard GL Cprofile neck offers an effortless playing experience, with a 24.8 inch scale length, 12 inch radius and a comfortable 43.5 mm nut width.
Lollar Imperial humbuckers in chrome provide articulate, dynamic tone with vintage warmth and modern clarity. Gotoh hardware ensures rocksolid tuning and precise intonation, while Lowden's unique throughbody brass string anchor enhances sustain and resonance. The softened contours and arched top make the GL10 exceptionally comfortable, balancing premium craftsmanship with a refined, understated look.
